Brian Sedgwick
County Commander
A 35-year member of the American Legion, Brian has been actively involved with Post 1236 in New Lebanon, NY. He is a past Commander of his post and currently serves as the Columbia County American Legion Commander.
Married for 38 years, Brian continues to advocate for veterans and support his local community through his longstanding Legion involvement.

Tom Fisher
1st Vice Commander
Tom Fisher serves as 1st Vice Commander of Hudson American Legion Post 184 and Columbia County 1st Vice Commander. He also serves as County Chaplain, County SAL Advisor, and County Chair of the Children & Youth and Oratorical Programs, and is the Children & Youth Chair for the 3rd District. He is past commander of the Sons of American Legion Squadron #184. Tom’s commitment reflects the core values of The American Legion, service to veterans, youth, and community, while continuing the Legion’s proud tradition of leadership and patriotism.

Elijah Falkner
County Adjutant
Elijah Falkner serves as the 1st Vice Commander of New Lebanon Post 1236, County Adjutant and 3rd District Adjutant. His eligibility for the American Legion comes from his service as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army from 2014-2018. Elijah commitment to service reflects the core Values of the Legion, service to veterans, youth, and community, while continuing the Legion’s proud tradition of leadership and patriotism.
